Starting as a startup with 5 founders passionate about technology, NTQ Solution has grown significantly over 13 years, becoming a standout in growth rate and revenue. Throughout this journey, the spirit of ‘Companionship’ has been a key factor in connecting each individual at NTQ, enabling them to grow alongside the organization. The challenge has been how to align aspirations and maximize the strengths of a multinational company under the Global One-Team strategy. To address this, the Leadership Training Program was introduced, targeting managers both in Vietnam and globally, to offer new insights and directions for NTQ’s future development

“Common Goal” plus “Responsibility” plus “Commitment” – The formula for “Companionship” to achieve resilient success together.

Resilient Success Formula at NTQ

In the early days of its establishment, the NTQ team lacked much of the knowledge needed to operate the business, such as in management, finance, and sales. Thanks to the passion for technology, along with the management team’s shoulder-to-shoulder support and fearless approach to challenges, NTQ has grown significantly, becoming a standout in growth speed and revenue. Nowadays, facing changing requirements and constant competition from the market, the spirit of “Companionship” plays an increasingly important role and is key to NTQ achieving even more challenging goals.

At NTQ, we embrace the spirit of Companionship to actively promote and create meaningful values that contribute to each individual’s growth as they work with NTQ.

Companionship = Common Goal + Responsibility + Commitment

NTQ understands that achieving resilient success requires each individual to understand, agree on, and be responsible for shared goals, while also being committed to implementing them through to the end. “Companionship” means working together towards these “Common Goals,” ensuring that the outcomes benefit everyone. “Responsibility” encourages members to proactively take on tasks and collaborate with teammates to achieve these goals. Finally, “commitment”—remaining steadfast and determined in fulfilling tasks—is a vital factor for the organization’s success.

The spirit of “Companionship” has become an important element in NTQ’s vision and core values, shaping the unique identity of NTQ people. It is through this spirit that our entire team can truly understand, align with, and amplify our collective strength to drive business growth. Companionship is also the guiding principle that inspires NTQ’s leadership training activities.

“Converging Aspirations” to Prepare for a New Journey

“What path will we choose?

What can we do together to conquer that path?”

The concern of managers and leaders often revolves around the significant responsibilities they bear for the organization. Beyond developing professional skills, each manager must cultivate the mindset and abilities necessary to guide their unit in the right direction, achieve set goals, and create value for their employees. Recognizing these concerns, the Leadership Training Program has been designed to clarify and align the common path, helping to converge the aspirations of each manager and equipping them with the essential mindset to achieve shared goals.

Leadership Training Program - Companionship is the key!

To achieve resilient success, a company needs both short-term and long-term goals. NTQ’s journey has been shaped by over a decade of exploring and seizing opportunities. With a solid foundation, NTQ’s goals and direction have become clearer, as the company receives support from a diverse range of customers in international markets. In the Leadership Training Program 2022, NTQ’s “common path” was further clarified and highlighted: NTQ aims to become a Global IT Service Provider.

In the Leadership Training Program, NTQ was fortunate to be accompanied by experts and chairpersons from numerous large corporations both internationally and within Vietnam, who shared valuable experiences and lessons. During the first session, Mr.Pham Dinh Doan, Chairman of Phu Thai Group, openly shared his journey in leading Phu Thai to become the 1st major corporation in Vietnam. These valuable and practical insights have become an inspiring story for NTQ’s managers.

Conquering the “Roof” of Indochina (Fansipan Peak) – Reality Activity to Train Leadership Mindset and The Untold Stories

The Leadership Training Program at NTQ is distinctive because it not only involves sharing sessions but also incorporates special challenges. These activities provide an opportunity for managers to step away from their busy schedules, spend time in nature, and gain a deeper understanding of their teammates. In challenging situations, the determination and strong connections among NTQ managers become more apparent than ever.

This time, the challenge is to conquer Fansipan Peak—the highest mountain in Vietnam, with an altitude of 3,143m. This peak symbolizes the arduous and challenging goals that NTQ aspires to achieve. To ensure all members of the competing team reach the Fansipan Flagpole without using the cable car, there’s only one way: relying on their strength, the companionship of their team, and a determined spirit to see it through. The journey to the summit becomes even more demanding with NTQ Solution’s management and leadership team setting an ambitious target to conquer the peak in a maximum of 10 hours, embodying the spirit of “Speed Up”—NTQ’s slogan of 2022.

For many NTQ managers, this was their first experience with mountain climbing. Some members faced injuries or were not in peak physical condition just before the trip. Despite these challenges, none of them gave up, and the managers were resolute in their determination to conquer Fansipan Peak together.

The journey to conquer Indochina’s highest peak was full of hardships and challenges, offering each team unique and interesting experiences. As the climb progressed, the weather became colder, the air thinner, and the terrain more rugged, testing the climbers’ endurance. Steep and slippery trails after rain, dangerous high cliffs, and unexpected incidents along the way also posed further challenges. These conditions required the NTQ Solution management team to display courage and composure, making quick and effective decisions under pressure.

Complicated routes, rugged terrain, and injuries encountered during the climb are challenges that demand courage and calm decision-making from the NTQ management team.

“The journey was incredibly challenging. After losing strength from navigating complex routes, the whole team discussed strategies to slow down, rest, and regain stamina. When we were tired, each person walked a bit apart due to our varying physical strengths. Occasionally, we would call out to each other to make sure everyone was still nearby. The most memorable part for me was waiting to hear my teammates’ familiar calls or the sound of their laughter teasing each other along the way. Those moments were like a rallying cry, encouraging me to keep pushing forward towards the finish line,” shared Color Girl, a nickname given to her by her teammates for having the most vibrant outfit in the competition.

“My physical strength started to wane after climbing two-thirds of the way, and at times, my legs seemed to stop responding to my mind. During those moments, the motivation to keep going came from the shouts of ‘almost there,’ ‘the road is almost flat,’ and ‘keep going’ from my teammates. Seeing the spirit and determination of my teammates, who were also dealing with their health issues, made me realize that I had a responsibility to move forward with everyone. The final push not to give up came from knowing that turning back would be harder than pressing on,” shared Mr. T, a representative of the Association of People Overcoming Difficulties.

“My team had prepared their physical strength, planned strategies, and gathered all the necessary equipment before the climb. So, the biggest challenge for me was finding ways to continuously motivate the members who showed signs of fatigue and wanted to give up,” shared Mr. K, the man carrying four “weights.”

With perseverance, resilience, and a strong desire to conquer, the “Converging Aspirations” flag flew proudly at the top of Fansipan, with NTQ Solution’s entire management and leadership team standing together. Achieving the ambitious goal of conquering Fansipan within 10 hours seemed impossible, but in the end, everyone united to reach the finish line, embodying NTQ Solution’s spirit of “L.E.O Up & Speed Up.”

“The journey to conquer Fansipan Peak symbolizes NTQ’s upcoming path. There will certainly be many difficulties and challenges, but we will surely overcome them if we go together,” shared Mr.L, a representative of the Association of Overcoming Difficulties.

“I see the essence of ‘teamwork’ in the saying: ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together!’ Previously, we often thought of this saying in a very abstract way. But during the less than 10-hour journey to conquer Fansipan, I truly felt its meaning. If we go alone, some team members might be faster at first, but they might not make it far or reach the finish line due to health issues and the lack of support from teammates. The success of the team belongs to every member. I felt very emotional, even excited, when the whole team ‘reached the top’ together,” Mr. T shared.

The leadership training courses have provided a solid foundation for NTQ managers on their journey to achieve challenging goals, helping NTQ become a strong enterprise that brings value to society and the community.
