Recently, NTQ Japan successfully organized a series of exclusive workshops for its valued enterprise clients and partners in Japan. With the topic “Next-Gen ODC™ – Powered by GenAI,” NTQ Japan representatives shared various aspects of the Offshore Development Center (ODC) model and how NTQ has developed its proprietary Next-Gen ODC™ model to optimize processes, timelines, and quality.
ODC has long been a popular collaboration model between countries such as Vietnam and Japan, but still faces significant challenges. Based on past observations and experiences, NTQ Japan representatives pointed out that speed, knowledge transfer barriers, and cultural adaptability are the main concerns for businesses when considering ODC partnerships.
Additionally, the biggest challenge of the traditional ODC model comes from the complexity of the knowledge transfer process, one of the most significant factors affecting project timelines and quality. According to NTQ Japan, this process often consumes a lot of time dealing with documentation and carries risks, especially when relying on experienced personnel and managers for training and knowledge sharing. This insight became the foundation for NTQ to develop the exclusive Next-Gen ODC™ model
NTQ Japan representatives emphasized that the Next-Gen ODC™ model can be implemented with up to twice the speed, achieving scalability up to 2-6 times more efficiently than the traditional model. To accomplish this, the implementation and operation processes for Next-Gen ODC™ have been significantly improved thanks to NTQ’s extensive implementation experience and proprietary processes, along with the implementation of the NxUniverse ecosystem.
Among the tools, NxKMS takes on the role of efficiently storing, managing, and extracting knowledge data, ensuring a flexible and effective knowledge transfer process without consuming excessive time or resources. During project implementation, NTQ can greatly enhance productivity by utilizing NxDev for accelerating coding & programming tasks, effective communication and translation via NxTrans, and quality workforce development through NxInterview. Beyond improving performance, Next-Gen ODC delivers superior collaboration value, helping clients leverage excellent customer experience, optimize operations, and create new business model opportunities.
Most of the invited businesses and partners were impressed by the model’s advantages and expressed a strong interest in collaborating with NTQ Japan to apply Next-Gen ODC™. This is a clear testament to the importance of thorough investment and a deep understanding of international business needs across various industries, which is the key to NTQ Japan’s success, along with other NTQ branches globally, in building diverse solution ecosystems that meet the varied needs of global enterprises.
