Amid the rapid acceleration of digital transformation worldwide, particularly in Japan – A market known for its stringent requirements in quality and system reliability, long-term collaboration models between technology providers and local enterprises are becoming increasingly critical. In line with this trend, NTQ continues to strengthen its position by expanding partnerships with leading Japanese corporations.

As a part of a strategic partnership with M-Up Holdings, a leading Japanese corporation in the digital media industry. NTQ & Fanplus – A subsidiary of M-Up Holdings specializing in an entertainment platform, has affirmed to establish an Offshore Development Center. The event not only marks a new milestone in NTQ’s international growth journey but also reflects the growing trust Japanese enterprises place in Vietnamese technology companies’ capabilities.

Strategic ODC Model to Drive Innovation and Scalable Growth in Japan

The ODC marks the next step in a highly effective collaboration between NTQ and Fanplus over more than 1,5 years. Building on the success of key projects from a very small team, the partnership has steadily strengthened, leading to the continuous expansion of the team, laying the foundation for a large-scale ODC. This milestone reinforces both companies’ commitment to a long-term growth vision and aspiration to deliver impactful digital solutions for Japanese enterprises.

Under the agreement, NTQ will take full responsibility for its operation and development. The center will bring together a highly skilled team of engineers, developers, and technology experts, carefully selected to meet rigorous standards in technical expertise, professional capabilities, and language proficiency. This talent pool will serve as a key driver in ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality delivery across all joint initiatives.

The ODC is designed as a comprehensive collaboration hub where NTQ and Fanplus will work closely across multiple strategic areas. First, both parties will focus on enhancing Fanplus’s capabilities in developing advanced eCommerce platforms, while expanding its ecosystem to strengthen connections between fans and artists – One of Fanplus’s core strengths in the Japanese market. Leveraging technology to improve user engagement, personalization, and behavioral insights is expected to deliver significant value to this ecosystem.

In addition, research and development (R&D) will play a central role within the ODC model. NTQ and M-Up Holdings will jointly explore and implement cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud computing, and Security solutions, to optimize operations and enhance overall business performance. These innovations are expected not only to support M-Up Holdings’ internal needs but also to unlock broader commercialization opportunities in the future.

Furthermore, the ODC will serve as a platform for continuous knowledge exchange and process standardization. Through training programs, technical workshops, and experience-sharing initiatives, both sides aim to improve productivity, ensure quality aligned with Japanese standards, and continuously enhance end-user experience.

From Proven Delivery to Strategic Partnership: Elevating the Collaboration Model

The establishment of the ODC also reflects a broader trend in the evolving role of Vietnamese technology companies within the global value chain. Beyond being long-standing and trusted outsourcing partners, Vietnamese firms are increasingly recognized by Japanese enterprises for their strong execution capabilities, adaptability, and ability to deliver high-quality technology solutions at scale.

Notably, this growing trust comes at a time when Vietnam is emerging as one of the region’s most dynamic technology hubs, driven by its rapid adoption of new technologies and a young, highly skilled workforce. As Japan continues to face structural challenges such as talent shortages and an aging population, more Japanese corporations are turning to Vietnam as a strategic destination for technology investment and long-term collaboration.

Against this backdrop, the establishment of the ODC between NTQ and Fanplus is one of the most notable examples that demonstrate the tightening tech collaboration between Vietnam & Japan enterprises. It not only underscores the strength of the existing partnership between the two companies, but also highlights Vietnam’s rising position as a trusted technology partner capable of supporting Japan’s digital transformation journey in a sustainable and scalable manner.
