NTQ has officially become a member of the Network of Centers for Excellence and Talent Development in Smart and Advanced Transportation Technology and Infrastructure (UTT Network), reaffirming its role as a corporate partner in education to develop a high-quality tech workforce and promote international integration.
On August 1st, 2025, NTQ officially joined the Network of Centers for Excellence and Talent Development in Industry 4.0 Technologies, in collaboration with the University of Transport Technology and under the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Training. This marks a significant milestone in strengthening the partnership between business and education, contributing to enhanced quality in training, research, and technology transfer in the digital era.
The Network of Centers for Excellence and Talent Development in Smart and Advanced Transportation Technology and Infrastructure (UTT Network) is a nationally significant initiative established under Decision No. 374/QĐ-TTg dated February 19, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister of Vietnam. The network brings together leading universities, research institutes, and technology enterprises with the goal of strengthening collaboration in education, research, and innovation across key fields such as artificial intelligence, smart transportation, and digital infrastructure. Core activities include developing high-quality training programs, implementing “study-at-home” models, mutual credit recognition between institutions, faculty and student exchanges, and building an open innovation ecosystem. These efforts aim to elevate Vietnam’s higher education system toward greater international integration.
At the Launch Conference of the Network, Mr. Bui Viet An, Chief Technology Officer of NTQ, signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Transport Technology. The signing took place in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training and the university’s leadership. The event also welcomed representatives from NTQ’s Training Department, who are responsible for promoting initiatives in technology talent development for both the organization and the wider community. This agreement marks NTQ’s long-term commitment to supporting Vietnam’s education, research, and innovation ecosystem.
As a pioneering technology company, NTQ is committed to working closely with universities and research institutions to implement practical and impactful collaboration initiatives. In its proposal, NTQ plans to co-develop hands-on training programs in key areas such as AI, IoT, Big Data, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), while also supporting applied research groups focused on solving real-world challenges in smart transportation and infrastructure. Additionally, NTQ aims to jointly establish the NTQ – UTT Smart Transport Lab, provide practice-oriented equipment for students, organize annual industry-specific events, and offer internship opportunities each year, with a focus on recruiting outstanding graduates into its workforce.
Becoming an official member of the Network not only expands NTQ’s role within the technology ecosystem but also contributes to cultivating a new generation of engineers who are highly skilled, practice-oriented, interdisciplinary in thinking, and driven by innovation. Through a collaborative model that connects businesses, universities, and research institutions, students gain early exposure to real-world working environments, helping them develop both professionally and personally while still in school.
NTQ’s participation in the UTT Network is a clear reflection of its long-term vision to invest in education and technological talent development. We believe that with close cooperation between industry and academia, future generations of tech engineers will be fully equipped with the knowledge, skills, and ambition to reach global standards and proudly represent Vietnam on the world technology map.
