On May 26, the Vietnam – China Investment & Technology Business Exchange 2026 officially took place in Hanoi as a private networking event jointly organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Sunwah Group.
The program gathered around 100 representatives from Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises, including a delegation of approximately 30 Chinese businesses operating across technology, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, and related sectors. The event created an important platform for dialogue, investment connections, and technology collaboration opportunities between enterprises from both countries.
As part of the program, NTQ Factory delivered a presentation titled: “Vietnam’s Science & Technology Ecosystem and Co-creation Opportunities in the New Era”, presented by Ms. Nguyen Minh Trang – CEO of NTQ Factory
During the session, NTQ Factory shared multiple perspectives on Vietnam’s rapid transformation from a manufacturing-focused economy into an increasingly innovation-led ecosystem.
According to NTQ Factory’s representative, Vietnam is no longer viewed solely as a low-cost production destination, but is gradually emerging as a strategic regional hub for technology development, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation.
The presentation highlighted several factors driving this momentum, including the continued rise of foreign direct investment (FDI), the rapid expansion of the digital economy, and the development of Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem. Notably, the digital economy currently accounts for 14.02% of Vietnam’s GDP, and the country is now home to more than 70,000 digital technology companies.
Alongside these trends, Vietnam’s young workforce, growing technology talent pool, and strong global trade connectivity are also creating favorable conditions for international enterprises seeking long-term growth opportunities in ASEAN.
Drawing from NTQ’s own globalization journey over the past 15 years — from starting with almost zero international presence to expanding globally with a growing network of clients and partners across multiple markets — NTQ Factory shared practical perspectives on what businesses truly need to succeed in new markets. Beyond market potential, NTQ Factory also emphasized that expanding into Vietnam today requires more than operational investment alone.
Businesses increasingly need deeper localization strategies, stronger ecosystem collaboration, and a better understanding of local market dynamics to accelerate adaptation and build sustainable growth.
From this perspective, NTQ Factory introduced several important considerations for international enterprises entering the Vietnamese market, including:
According to NTQ Factory, successful market expansion today is no longer about simply applying existing business models to new markets, but about creating long-term value through collaboration and adaptability.
One of the key discussion points during the presentation was the shift from traditional investment models toward “FDI + Local Co-Creation” approaches.
Rather than simply “bringing existing models into new markets”, enterprises are increasingly focusing on building together with local partners to shorten learning curves, improve operational adaptability, and unlock more sustainable long-term value.
The session also explored broader trends currently shaping Vietnam’s business ecosystem, including:
According to NTQ Factory, these shifts are redefining how businesses approach expansion, partnership development, and innovation in the region.
As Vietnam continues to strengthen its position in the global technology landscape, local enterprises are increasingly investing in their core capabilities to participate more deeply in international business ecosystems and long-term strategic partnerships. NTQ is one of the digital companies with notable movement in global collaboration.
Through this speech, NTQ Factory’s representatives demonstrate how NTQ could bring value in helping businesses maximize opportunities to expand in Vietnam and globally, within 4 key focuses:
With experience supporting clients across manufacturing, technology, and digital transformation initiatives, NTQ Factory shared practical perspectives on how enterprises can better navigate Vietnam’s evolving technology ecosystem while identifying new opportunities for regional collaboration and innovation-driven growth.
Beyond knowledge sharing, the event also created valuable opportunities for direct networking and business matching between Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises, contributing to stronger connections and future collaboration opportunities between businesses from both countries.
Through its participation, NTQ Factory continues to reaffirm its commitment to supporting global collaboration, technology-driven transformation, and sustainable ecosystem development in Vietnam and across the region.
