A mindset, more than capability, is what has carried NTQ into the global market over the past 15 years — the conviction to choose a direction, the discipline to stay with it, and the patience to let trust compound over time. This article looks back at how that mindset took shape, one decision at a time.
“The hardest part of going global isn’t keeping up with technology — it’s staying committed to a choice long enough to turn it into an advantage.”
Long before NTQ established its presence across international markets, it was already being shaped by a particular way of thinking. It influenced which opportunities were pursued, how challenges were approached, and how relationships were built. Looking back after 15 years, that mindset can be seen throughout the company’s journey and, over time, became embedded in three values that continue to define NTQ today: Passion, Creation, and Trust.
Every company starts with an ambition. What determines its trajectory is how far people are willing to go to pursue it.
At NTQ, Passion has never been treated as an abstract value. It shows up as a habit — taking on responsibility that hasn’t been formally assigned, and treating “what’s expected” as a starting point rather than a ceiling. Underneath that habit is something simpler: a genuine interest in technology, and a restlessness to keep exploring what else might be possible.
One of the clearest examples of that spirit dates back to NTQ’s early years. When resources were still limited, the team devoted time to internal R&D projects without knowing whether they would ever become commercial products. During a customer engagement in Japan, those projects—including a self-built helicopter, a wall-climbing robot, and an obstacle-crossing vehicle—proved far more memorable than presentations alone.
In hindsight, the prototypes themselves weren’t the most important outcome. What truly mattered was the habit they reflected: exploring new ideas, learning through experimentation, and pushing beyond what was already familiar. Those early experiences laid the foundation for a culture that continues to shape NTQ today.
That same spirit can still be seen across the company—whether in the speed at which people embrace emerging technologies, the certifications they pursue on their own initiative, or the determination to stay ahead of industry shifts rather than react to them.
Over time, that way of working evolved into NTQ’s “Made by Passion” philosophy. More than a tagline, it reflects a commitment to approaching every product, service, and interaction with genuine care, always striving to deliver more value than expected.
As NTQ moved into international markets, one realization became unavoidable: execution alone would never be enough. Technical capability can open a door, but staying relevant over the long run takes something more — the ability to keep generating new value rather than simply delivering what’s asked. For NTQ, Creation is not a term applied retroactively to describe finished work. It has meant challenging assumptions about what the company is capable of, and proactively shaping solutions before clients think to ask for them.
That mindset shaped NTQ’s evolution into what the company now positions itself as: a One-stop technology partner offering end-to-end IT services. Software and digital transformation services remain the company’s core strength, but alongside that, NTQ has built complementary hardware capabilities through NTEX, covering hardware design and manufacturing. Products such as the iLUTon security card, E-Sensor, and Solar Box are an example of that broader capability — giving clients a single partner for both software and hardware needs, rather than two separate vendors.
The same instinct shows up in long-term bets on proprietary platforms, AI initiatives, and solutions such as The Next ODC Suite — investments made on the premise that differentiated value, not scale alone, is what sustains competitive advantage. NTQ has also taken that work outside project environments altogether, presenting it at international technology exhibitions and industry forums, where Vietnamese engineering gets a chance to stand alongside — and contribute to — global value chains.
Creation, at NTQ, is the ongoing habit of exploring, building, and pushing past whatever boundary currently exists, grounded in a simple premise: meaningful innovation comes from setting the pace of change, not following it — and that premise has held steady regardless of which market, technology, or client the company happens to be working with.
If Passion opened doors and Creation created differentiation, Trust is what turned those opportunities into lasting partnerships. At NTQ, successful delivery comes from transparency, from accountability, and from a “One Team” mindset that puts shared goals ahead of any single transaction.
That mindset shows early in how NTQ engages with new partners. In one healthcare technology project in Southeast Asia, NTQ was selected among numerous service providers — not on price, but because of its willingness to listen, understand the client’s challenges, and engage as a genuine partner from the outset. The collaboration later expanded into subsequent phases and new business opportunities through referrals, demonstrating that trust often begins long before delivery starts.
The same approach has shaped many of NTQ’s most significant relationships. Partnerships with organizations such as TIS, SB Technology, and M-Up Holdings were not built overnight. They are the result of years of collaboration, consistent delivery, and a shared commitment to growth—demonstrating how trust can transform a business engagement into a long-term strategic partnership.
Building trust across global markets takes more than consistent delivery—it requires a deep understanding of how different cultures define partnership. Through years of working with clients across Japan, Korea, the United States, and beyond, NTQ has learned that trust is earned in different ways. In Japan, it means embracing the spirit of Omotenashi, where genuine care and responsibility extend well beyond contractual obligations. In Korea, it means keeping pace with a culture that values speed and execution. In the United States, it means matching an entrepreneurial mindset that rewards initiative and innovation.
No single project has ever been enough to earn trust on its own. It accumulates — one decision, one commitment at a time — and that accumulation is what eventually turns a working relationship into one built to last.
Over the past 15 years, NTQ has expanded into new markets, embraced new technologies, and evolved in ways few could have predicted. Looking back, it’s clear that those milestones didn’t happen by chance. They were the result of countless choices—some small, some defining—that gradually shaped the way the company works and grows.
Passion, Creation, and Trust didn’t begin as carefully crafted company values. They emerged over time, through projects that stretched the team, partnerships that lasted, and challenges that demanded new ways of thinking. In many ways, they describe the journey just as much as they define the company today.
The next chapter will undoubtedly look different from the last, technologies will evolve, markets will shift, and new opportunities will emerge. But if the past 15 years have shown anything, it’s that the principles built along the way will continue to shape whatever comes next.
